Update for High School Students and Families
As you are probably aware, Governor Dewine has issued an order that keeps Ohio's K-12 schools engaged in distance learning through May 1st. This new timeline would push back our return date to May 4th. It is possible that the Governor may extend that through the remainder of the school year. Our goal, as always, is to provide our students with learning opportunities in a safe environment. Our teachers have been instructed to prepare materials for students to complete during our time away from the school building.
Students who have access to the internet will be participating in learning through Google Classroom, CCTC Moodle courses, and a number of other resources that have been communicated to them via their instructor. Students without regular internet access will be able to collect paper learning packets to exchange completed work for new work at four different times and locations.
The situation in Ohio changes every day, so there is sure to be updates and changes to other events moving forward. We will keep you informed as we make those decisions.
We miss you all and hope you and your family are safe and happy,
Sincerely,
The CCTC Staff
